My large scale painting Golden Hour Glow in watercolor. It’s much looser and more intuitive than prior paintings I’ve done, because I didn’t have a plan for this going into it. It almost threw the sky away bc of the vertical streaks, until they started to look like rain clouds. A happy accident.

Painting mountains, then more mountains, then some distant ones and some close ones, faint then bold. Love the flow state that painting these landscapes puts me in.
