Chronic illness really leaves its mark. We did a 5-mile hike to this lookout, one I haven't done since before my hysterectomy 2 years ago. I remembered it being so hard, even though I've done much more difficult hikes. It was easy this time, but I'm still anxious about how my body will respond.
