And yeah, if you are used to something, it's going to be hard. But if you want to stop being part of the "problem", then hold yourself accountable to make an effort. Start supporting artist by sharing and buying their work. Talk to people and see what they are using as the alternative!

Start laying off one thing and keep at it till you don't have the urge to go back. This is how I completely ditched X. The way we interact and consume media should be a diverse experience, why settle for only a few websites when the internet is vast? You can find that site or community/ alternative.

I started my detox journey this year with exploring Linux, grapheneos and even ditching youtube for freetube. I understand that not everyone can give up these things on a whim, and I wouldn't recommend folks to give it all up at once anyway. Starting small and building repetition helps.
