You ever heard of Chesterton's Fence? It’s the idea you need to understand why something was in place before you dismantle it. I would not be so keen to appease these fascist and find “easy” solutions to problems caused by them. Banning shipping and limiting trade is the right decision.

I can’t speak for him but I would assume it is some mix of caring about the issue. self promotion, and virtue signaling to his primary demographic of customers, and colleagues.

I have never seen any evidence, I think it is just her shtick to drive engagement on social media. She is very much about promoting the ided of “if you are not with her you are against her.” Sad part is no one is with sara she is a Z-list board game reviewer while eric is a real designer.

Yea…. I know that is why the full qualification I used was “under normal situations”. People becoming disabled, collecting SS and being monitored for how much money they earn the rest of their lives is a lot worse than student loan debt and not a realistic path to student loan discharge.

Academia is predatory in nature and not just limited to animation schools. A schools goal is almost never to foster an industry where a graduate can earn a living wage but to collect profit by any means. Even staff including teachers are just victims to the institution.

Dude prices are going to go up for everyone from the tip of long island to your no name area of new york. Even if your electricity does not come directly from Canada it offsets prices and is sold to other people. When demand goes up people will buy energy and raise prices no matter what.
