Well, the democrats in the Senate as usual have screwed us. They shut down the government and caused a lot of pain for the good cause of restoring ACA extensions. They are giving up. Think of the millions of people that counted on them. trump won't even fund SNAP, much less ACA. Disgusting.

1. The tragedy in Kerrville is on my mind. Everyone should have a National Weather Service Radio. Small & cheap, they sit quietly until an emergency warning comes directly from NOAA, the same alerts the local sheriff's office gets. It uses radio waves, has backup batteries and needs no internet.

It's horrible that Jews were burned by an insanely hate-filled man. Then I see the video around another 30 unarmed Palestinians gunned down, killed by the IDF while they were trying to get to FOOD! Why isn't someone stopping this madness? The world needs to get more involved and make it stop! UN?

Am I the only American citizen that thinks the divide in this country is hopeless? What can we do? Can we take New Mexico, to CA, up and over to Maine and start over? Or join Canada? Let's just fantasize a little. They hate us so much they might just let us go? Ideas?

What is trump and his transition team hiding about Hegseth? The FBI investigation was truncated and controlled by trump's team and not released to House members. An unserious serviceman, an alcoholic and a misogynist, is about to be approved by reluctant but fearful Republicans.
