People focus. This book is like low stakes Firefly. I loved the characters so much I wanted to know what they were having for dinner, where did they grow up, what makes them tick? I’m not usually like that. I’m usually very plot driven but put me on this ship now!

This is a great book. I hated it. People will be what they are no matter what situation they are in. Even when you think they may be redeemed, no. No. I recommend this book if you search for light in dark places.

Amazing! Story of a black woman who travels in time back to the antebellum south and experiences slavery first hand. This book has a good pace, well developed characters and constant tension. Kindred has elements of Sci-Fi and Horror. Love!!!

This got right to the spooky point. 30 pages in and I’m creeped out.
