Taking my elder cat to the vet today because over the weekend I had a panic spiral and decided he has hyperthyroidism. After sleeping and discussing, he probably does not. He does, however, have incredibly dramatic poops that we all deserve liberation from. Wish my beautiful boy luck!

Finally, we have Owen Pallett’s Has a Good Home (2005) (nèe Final Fantasy. Yeah, they don’t let him do that for long.). My favorite track is “The CN Tower Belongs to the Dead,” but basically every track is a joy. Highlights to “This is the Dream of Win & Regine” and “Please, Please, Please.”

This morning, the most opinionated creature in my house (Merrill, pictured) was FULLY BARKING at my feet and I couldn't figure out why. We'd been outside. We'd played. We'd had unearned treats.

Finished my first 10k race at The Biggest Little Marathon-10k-5k this past weekend. It snowed the entire time. Training in 80% humidity paid off. I finished in 01:04:02. The course was truly beautiful. Reno is dope. Spent time with my oldest friend. Good days in a hit-or-miss world.
