One of the most difficult truths to process after Trump’s reelection is knowing a majority of voters believe the best choice for correcting the economic divide are billionaires who have never faced homelessness, experienced hunger, or otherwise suffered any financial insecurities their entire lives.

I wish Republicans would learn there are intelligent small-town women who make sense when they talk, practice what they preach, don’t serve food that makes you shit your pants, nor do they chase down victimized teenagers for a cheap soundbite. Women are better than what Republicans try to make them.
