Always reminds me of that tweet when Austerity was first enacted that basically said at some point we will look around and everything will be crap. And that is what happened.

Lots of NI UK citizens wouldn’t and it’s them that would be most affected.

We did a comedy walking tour where the tour guide took the piss out of the countries of assembled international group as he showed us round the city. Was pretty good even if the UK seemed to get way more than its fair share of piss taking. The Ukrainian got a cheer and the US got a boo.

Year I was born. Parents were struggling. No-one wore seatbelts and almost everyone smoked. Strikes. Water stand pipes. Sure, let's go back to that.

I’d agree with everyone else that this is normal November weather in the south. It’s weird that there’s been no frost yet. My garden is still blooming and my big coat is still in the cupboard

Oh no as I read your post I got a horrible sense of foreboding and yes I am in that cohort. I only know of Rumours because of TikTok otherwise I’m practically allergic to Fleetwood Mac.

That’s amazing, practically a sprint at our age. My 15 yo runs at that time.
