I've picked up cross-stitching again after decades away from the hobby. There are so many fun geeky patterns available and I've been really enjoying how chill the activity is. It's something I have to slow down to do and it's also been teaching me to be patient with myself if I make a mistake.

In my most recent Eyes Unclouded session that I ran, the party received a letter from their soot sprite friends that I truly wish I could have handed them in real life because these little cinderlings cannot write & made it a group project! Like, I absolutely would have scented it with charcoal. ⚫

G(5) explained PEMDAS to me out of the blue yesterday at breakfast. He needed help with the spelling but all the handwriting is his and some of the math he did out loud instead of showing his work. This kid! 🤯
