I wrote this #poem today.
I don’t usually write #poetry but I had a lot on my mind.

Even though I’m not really a good #writer, I hope that maybe I can make someone feel less alone with this idk.

Poem that reads: A dying world - by @katjemetgrooteogen.bsky.social As the word turns into a flame You care not for change youre me is ale same mine teso strange You point fingers at those who are not to blame You care not as long as long as you have an "other" to estrange You care not that they are just like you People who just want to live too You see not that those who tell you this "other" is to blame Do nor have vour pes anterest acnear For they care only for their own gain Abe this is onry rust the star They care not it they cause pain As long as they get to keep their reign To them we are all the same Just pawns in their little game Just a means to attain And they'll do it again and again As I watch it all unfold ted so scared for us al It's like watching the past be retold LIke seeing that the mould That we thought was gone Keaoocar at dawn Just like those of the past had foretold want tO have hone for what is to come But am scared tha we wall succumo But keen as a rile of thumb That humanity has so many awful things overcome You might think it dumb But I will keep from going numb Even if the only hope left is a crumb shall remember empathy s nom even as I am overtaken by tright willive out of spite Remember what's right And continue to fight Fight for a world that is fair A wore Tull or ton withour desodir where there is no such thing as a billionaire A world where no one is above matis ouilt on love And when oush comes to shove You are taken care of Perhaps I am naive to have such dreams But I hope it is more possible than it seems
