Matsuda on "Identity in Written Discourse" continues to provide me with an excellent conceptual accounting of the range of pragmatic elements that can be part of what people mean when they talk about "voice," thus pointing in useful directions for how we might analyze it linguistically.

There's a few publications that I found helpful recently. A good qualitative analysis of language elements which tend to differ between human and chatbot dialogue plus their ideological implications is Van Poucke, "ChatGPT, the Perfect Virtual Teaching Assistant?"
