About last night… we hosted a speaker Open Mic to let people pitch their ideas for next Crush event. This year we’ve helped 60 women to speak at different stages.
I’m really proud of the work we do to amplify voices.

We have A LOT build in Finland. But our birth rates are still getting lower.
When you have sex education and allow low cost / almost free abortions, the number of unwanted babies is low.

Finland has a history of being ahead on women’s rights- but it’s the second most unsafe country for women in the EU. Mainly because of domestic violence.

But in the same study, 90% of all men agree violence against women is wrong. The alarming difference is to all men vs young men - suggesting we are seriously going backwards in fighting equal rights.

We are still small. But would like to grow. Women in Finland are fierce, and don’t always even realize how much ahead in feminism they are. At the same time, we need to be more connected to the rest of the world. Want to become friends?

Finnish Stock Exchange Building was built in 1912. Ever since, it has been an exclusive location for business, hosted historic figures and the home of Bourse Club.
They didn’t allow women in until in 2019.
It was a great location for feminist business event. We doubled in size.

Our first conference was in 2023 and 100 joined us. Many immigrant women found us, and many felt they were finally incorporated into business event in Finland. We tackled topics like violence against women, modern leadership, why feminism is needed, future building, founder success stories.

First we did a talk show in 2022. Only a few episodes, to show what kind of topics our event could do and what we want to pay attention to.
