Update for those I haven't been texting about this book: While enjoying the equestrian elements of the novel (with some exceptions), I also found it heavy-handed and icky at several key moments. The apparent opposition to interracial relationships and bits of victim-blaming were also troublesome.

I send good vibes and the knowledge that one of my family's goldens started experiencing seizures a year or two ago and he's happy and healthy as long as he gets his medicine! He actually alerts my parents when it's medicine time now because to him it's just a hunk of peanut butter or liver sausage!
