Yes. They are great. I bought them for my daughter when she became obsessed with the new tv series and not my class of year 5s enjoy them.

My class quickly devoured the Amulet series, especially a group of boys who had previously been tricky to engage in reading. I had to have lists to say who whatnhavinf which book next. One boy shared a small spoiler and I though I was going to have a riot on my hands.
