Until now people asking why I don’t sit around watching tv all day has seemed like a bit of a dick question but now I realise it’s because we’re basically put on a conveyor belt of learning to answer to other people since we’re kids 😵‍💫

My studio is in my flat, and so many people say “but how do you ever get any work done” and it’s because I learned to show up for myself. Because I want a job that’s not answering to someone else and because I think about where I’d like to be down the line and make a plan and stick to it
