Graveyard Shift by M.L. Rio. A book i only rated 3.5 purely because it should have been so much longer. Only 120 pages, but i keep finding myself thinking about it. I love stories that take place over one long night and ends with a sunrise. Another one I need to reread.

After The Forest by Kell Woods was so witchy. I loved every second. The lush writing style. The fairytale witchy villain. The magic. A Hocus Pocus like book. Magical baking. Wolves in the night. I was sad when it was over. Definitely planning a reread.

When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy is a strong honorable mention. It's pop culture fun horror with some genuinely scary monster moments that were like holy 😳. The book is nothing like you expect it to be. Expect it to get weird. Really weird.

I like the haunted doll watch but I wish Munch Squad would finally die off
