YES! I do have one to speak to (my partner, also one of the reasons I’m learning). But it’s just *so* much easier for us to communicate the day-to-day in English 🙃

Athens (obviously) faced the same. But what’s lovely is that a few of the metro stations now display some of the pieces excavated nearby. Mini underground museums as you commute!

Oh I remember this day well! I was stuck at Athens airport for seven hours, before managing to book a different flight (to Heathrow). Glad you got to your destination in the end too!

Oh this is such a kind thing to ask for your sister! I think in general I use social media more for entertainment than work, so it’s hard to say how I’m finding it for work. But will say I’ve barely used X for the last year - so this has to be a better option for the fact I’m even opening it!
