Tonight’s fundraising deadline is the biggest test of our campaign so far.

While my billionaire opponent recently gave his campaign $20 MILLION, I can’t cut my campaign a huge check.

That’s why I have a no-BS ask: Can you chip in before our midnight deadline?
Katie Porter is running for Governor of California.
Will you chip in $5 or more to help her stand up to Trump and far-right extremism?

NEW: Trump is backing down and withdrawing the National Guard from Los Angeles.

This is a WIN for our community and our democracy. California is done with his abuse of power and we’re going to keep fighting back. www.cnn.com/2025/12/31/p...

Donald Trump slashed nearly $30 BILLION/yr from Medi-Cal, which rural hospitals rely on to keep their doors open.

His proposed fix? $233 million to California—less than states with smaller rural populations.

As Governor, I’ll defend rural CA and fight back against this BS.

We’re building this campaign the right way–with grassroots donations from people who believe that California deserves a governor who is fighting for working families and making this state more affordable for everyone.

Can you chip in a few bucks ahead of our end-of-year deadline?

Due process is a fundamental right in the United States, yet Donald Trump is undermining it at every opportunity.

Dismantling our immigration courts and firing judges who refuse to do Trump’s bidding puts immigrants at risk and decimates due process. It must stop. www.latimes.com/world-nation...
California has lost more than a quarter of its immigration judges this year
The reduction in immigration judges comes as the Trump administration scales up efforts to deport immigrants living in the U.S. illegally.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy a holiday filled with joy, laughter, and time with loved ones.

Stay safe while traveling this holiday season, California—especially in recent burn areas.

It was such a treat to slow down for a moment and share some holiday cheer with the workers who keep Orange County running. Happy holidays to all!
December 24, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Donald Trump’s tariffs are a tax on Christmas. A $5 wholesale ornament jumps to $6.50. A $9.99 item becomes $13.00. That’s a huge difference for families just barely getting by.

Trump is making our cost crisis even worse—and it has to stop.

PG&E’s outage in San Francisco over the weekend was unacceptable. Energy is an essential resource and utilities should work in the public interest—not to pad their bottom line by raising rates and neglecting faulty infrastructure.
December 23, 2025 at 10:40 PM
Is President Trump the new Scrooge? When you add a 30% tax to the cost of Christmas, you’re not just taxing goods, you’re taxing family traditions.

Higher prices under the tree means a direct hit to the holiday spirit for American families and small businesses.

A quick break from the campaign trail for the pool! Grateful for some family time watching Betsy play. Back to the trail soon but first — Go Betsy!

Workers are paying more for health insurance than ever before, but can't even get appointments. Deductibles are often hard to reach, and Donald Trump is letting premiums double for millions.

We need to lower health care costs so that every Californian has the coverage and care they need.
December 18, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Housing costs a lot in California—and that’s made our homelessness crisis one of the worst in the nation.

As we work to bring down costs, investing in interim housing like Cherry Hill—and the ongoing services residents need—is critical to solving unsheltered homelessness.
December 17, 2025 at 11:18 PM
Donald Trump’s attacks on free speech are attacks on our democracy—and it’s shameful that KCBS apparently bent the knee and censured journalists to appease Trump.

I will never back down when it comes to calling out Donald Trump’s harmful agenda that is hurting Californians and our families.

How sick do you have to be to post something like this?

What a disgusting and abhorrent response to the awful killing of Rob and Michele last night.

Thinking of their loved ones during this horrific time.
December 15, 2025 at 11:17 PM
For too long, our country has expected care to happen for free or for pennies on the dollar. That is morally wrong and economically stupid.

Investing in care is a strategic move to grow our population and economy. It’s time we change how we value our care providers.

As families gather across the country to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah, a holiday filled with light and joy, many are grappling with the horrific antisemitic attack in Australia. (1/2)

Let's talk taxes. California’s budget instability is like a rollercoaster, and it's driven by worsening wealth inequality.

We can afford to make the investments we need in our state—we just have to bring down costs, make smart budget decisions, and grow our economy.
December 12, 2025 at 5:14 PM
A huge thank you to Mayor Matt Mahan for a tour of the Cherry Avenue interim housing community.

San Jose is proof: unsheltered homelessness IS solvable. We can replicate this success statewide.
December 11, 2025 at 12:04 AM
If we had more moms in charge, you can bet life would already be more affordable in California—from child care to health care to housing.

I’m running for Governor to shake up the status quo in Sacramento that has left too many families and women behind.
December 10, 2025 at 9:02 PM
California doesn’t need talking points on affordability from a billionaire. We need leaders who actually understand the cost crisis our families are facing.

Fighting inequality makes our economy stronger. When I’m Governor, my focus will be on bringing down costs and growing our state.

When I asked Chase CEO Jamie Dimon how a minimum wage worker could make ends meet, he said “I don’t know.”

When I led California’s response to the foreclosure crisis, homes weren’t saved just because a settlement agreement existed. It was the tireless work from my team on the ground.
