This reminded me of psycho control freak Jim Bob Duggar in 19 Kids and Counting. His daughters were treated like property. Jim Bob was so obsessed with the idea that he was giving away his daughters in marriage, he personally went shopping to buy the lingerie for them to wear on their honeymoon!😬

When I was a college kid in the 70's, I was the darkroom tech for a radiologist who was maybe 40. He shocked the staff when he insisted that "no woman can be beautiful after the age of 30". Umm, his own wife was in her mid-30's and lovely. I always wondered if she knew this about him.

Reminded me of Priscilla Presley, who wrote the book, "Elvis And Me", about their relationship. She wrote that Elvis never had sex with her again after she gave birth to their daughter, because he couldn't handle having sex with women who were mothers.

I was just about to reply with the same thing! That trick question sadly stumped just about everyone back then, because of course the surgeon couldn't possibly be his mom!

Just a comment about trying to live on a single income. My parents bought a 1200 sq ft starter home in West LA, 10 minutes from the beach, in 1960. They paid $30,000. That 80 year old, very basic house is now valued by Zillow at $1.4 million.

When I was a kid, in the 60's, the dads worked, the moms stayed home. But in those days one income supported a family. Don't these young women listening to Mr. Potato Head realize they're likely to end up needing a good job, even if they get married? Charlie Kirk and his patronizing, regressive BS!

I wondered the same thing, so I read a few articles from financial news sites. Wall Street reportedly thinks that Tesla is going to become an innovative leader in AI and robotics, so the declining car sales aren't a deal breaker. But Elon is a flake, never delivers on his promises.
