IRS to replace fired workers with AI... I absolutely hate this timeline.
This could result in incorrect adjustments to regular peoples' returns just from glitchy AI. There definitely could be some easy automation opportunities, but AI isn't it.

Well, looks like all that work they did to make filing taxes free was pointless now. I was really hopeful with this program that they were going to put all the forms on there so anyone can do their more complicated taxes. So disappointing.

I recommend using Freetaxusa.com instead. The free file system only works for very easy (EZ) returns, so 1099 employees and entrepreneurs won't be able to file there. I've used FreeTaxUSA for years for my personal taxes, and it works great. If you've got complicated taxes, though, hit me up!

Had a great time last week presenting to over 70 entrepreneurs for the BIPOC accelerator program with PeopleFund! I love being able to give back to the non-profit that helped me start my business years ago, and I hope that sharing my knowledge will help everyone not stumble where I did!
