Apparently yes. Often they’re in far to reach places now… I’d probably need someone with insider knowledge. That said I like your google idea - it’s worth a try, when finding interesting pieces on the beaches I visit etc. Thank you 💎

Yes there is - around Kingston down south and Ulverstone up north a lot settled after WWII. Many did very well and seem to love it!
