Can’t agree more! Set myself the challenge to walk 100miles in May and it was wonderful. Made me appreciate the fab local walks and realise I have got the time within the working week to do it.

This year I’ve had my tlr time from 11.40am on a Monday and most weeks I’ve gone home to work. I cannot explain how beneficial this has been, such a productive afternoon. Unfortunately my new timetable starting in July has random free periods scattered over the week. Genuinely gutted.

Never answered which was my favourite but love them all! I teach in a semh school and so any activities that build trust and foster good relationships is great.

For this academic year I’ve ran a maths trip to Pontefract race course, hosted two maths problem solving/team building afternoons, plus pi day and Maths Week England. Non maths enrichment-farm visits, planning/cooking roast dinner for whole school, baking for charity event, staff pantomime, fayre.
