Yeah it's all kinds of wrong to use a number he got through doordash when he could have just talked to you right then and there. Like you said in your text, take the compliment and roll along I guess! At least he didn't keep going and going and going

Thank you!! When I worked with teens, I made a booklist with call numbers just like this. We still use it. 💜

A lot of Library patrons that still read him like his older stuff better-when he wrote it all himself. I'm not sure you can even call him a writer now. But he's launched a lot of writers' solo careers by collaborating with them. And he gives a fuck ton of money to literacy causes. So overall, 🤷‍♀️

Positive self talk can help. Saying things out loud so your brain can hear it and start to internalize it. Honestly I'm a big believer in faking it until you make it. Eventually it won't be so weird to hear yourself say, hey great job, or I'm a good friend, or I deserve good things.

I REALLY need doctors to start doing ghost appointments for shit like this. Yep, we saw them, sure did, now give them the meds! A little insurance fraud does not phase me, give it a chance, doctors!

Haha trust me I feel the same. Libby it's probably that you can check out 10 books at any one time
November 22, 2025 at 3:30 PM
I'm not sure if this was just a rhetorical question, so sorry if it was! But hoopla has a limit because the library pays per checkout so if it wasn't capped the cost would be prohibitive for the library. Libby is usually a cap of how many at a time you can check out, not overall. That's surprising.
