Lined this out in 3 1/2 hours on the amazing Ashley. Backpieces are some of my favorite projects to work with clients on. Partly for the scale, partly for the time we spend together and partly for the power in having ‘one’s back.’ This practice is mutually supportive for client + tattooer.

This photograph was part of a performance piece shown in 2017 at ATAK Gallery, San Francisco, titled: ‘Not Your Pussy: Lessons in Modern Body Autonomy.’ The show was featured in Juxtapoz Magazine. Looking forward to the art that comes from this term…. lemons into lemonade.
