MA. Completely bewildered by our new world. Single parent, back to school at 40 & halfway through my bachelor's with a 4.0. Thank you so much for voting against my rights, my children's rights, & social safety nets we and many others rely on. /s FDT 🖕🏻
This was my question too. The proximity and maybe ease of import? Must contribute to the fast uptake somehow. Their models and prices would way outcompete the US if they were inexpensive to import

I didn't intend for this to get so long but I needed to clarify that I mean, somewhere in there, there are professionals who know what they're doing, including the ones working for Russia's interests. I don't want to make it seem like I'm telling you all that Trump is some diplomatic savant 😅😭

The "future talks", obviously, signals they're not agreeing to the current deal, that Europe is behind Zelenskyy, and the ball is in the US' court- publicly calling out that he's going to look like the bad guy when Ukraine gets the raw deal. Trump hates looking bad. So 🤷🏻‍♀️ Classic negotiations lol

It's an ego stroke to make it look like "oh we're so indebted to your Majesty's generous spirit for hearing us out 🤪". But then they said what matters- they're still looking forward to future talks to come to a solution with classic (diplomatic business-like descriptions of behavior as filler here).

That the US' power is changing and we're well on the way to multipolarity. The US hitching a ride with Putin in theory is (*to them*) a powerful duo.
Zelenskyy is smart to have Europe supporting him publicly and the statement yesterday showing gratitude to Trump was classic face-saving for Trump:

The US style is notorious for being very straight to the point, no frills, will bluff like "idk, Congress won't back this so you probably will have to go with x, y, z" (the original goal deal anyways). They know they've been the big dog and don't see that changing. But if you ask others they say no-

I'm literally in an international negotiation and diplomacy class right now and it's funny how textbook the US-Russia behaviors have been despite Trump throwing all kinds of nonsense at the wall hoping it sticks and that Putin loves him for it. But the US (typically) won't risk European allyship.

So where are the people they have been holding there? Did they bus them out for 24 hrs just for this visit to make it look less horrible than it already is? We all know she was finally allowed to tour the facility because they emptied it 😑

Yes a very VERY diplomatic way of saying "we're still talking, nothing solid yet," with a clear call-out to the US that solutions need to have Ukraine in mind. This one is worded carefully. ;)

Carney saying "I'll talk to Trump again when it matters" like 🔥

Did you see the video where the one guy thought a $60 mini bottle of vitamins called liquid gold was an ingredient in Mac n cheese and just went with it? Like he didn't think that was weird or anything? Buy the damn pie if you want to/need to. It's fine.

I somehow am a loud sneezer with an overly dramatic, forceful, "bleehhhhCHOOOO" that pops vertebrae in my neck 😆 My dad was too, I think.

Please find an actually toxic food dye and however much it takes to murder me with it, please do it. I'm done.
