The only reason I listened was out of worry that he might announce that we were at war with Venezuela. I was relieved that it was just his usual string of absurdities.

A happy thought, but sadly, it can't happen. A charge for treason ONLY applies to wrongful actions taken during a war that has been declared by Congress. We haven't had one of those since WWII. Charge with something else, maybe, but the charge can't be for treason.

A cheerful thought, but the ICC has no jurisdiction over the U.S. or its citizens. I wish they did.

Trans people are being fired, attacked, deprived of basic civil rights, and they don't think their concerns are little. Standing up for equal rights is not something that can be set aside until it's safe and politically convenient.

I would trust the Governor to appoint a qualified person. I just hope Giselle Byrd will do a great job for the state. Anyone who's emotionally constipated and all flustered about a trans woman needs to go get counseling, and STFU. Giselle is just fine. THEY'RE the one with the problem!

16 (parents went to court and legally disowned me), now 74. Love my life, lived it authentically, lifelong activist for social justice (jailed a few times for it), lived exactly how I wanted to, have no regrets. Lived a good life, am not done yet!
