Painting update: did some more detail work as well as drew in some of the placeholders for the palm fronds. The back lighting from the morning sun makes it difficult to see some of the work I’ve done, but it’s coming along steadily.

I had completed this training some time back but was reluctant to take this test for many reasons. But I actually sat down and did it. And I'm so glad that I did because I PASSED!!!! 🎉 I can now say that I have OFFICIALLY achieved the Intuit Trained Bookkeeper certification! 🙌

I took these two pictures yesterday afternoon. This is the first time I’ve seen the sandhill cranes in a while. The baby has grown (and this is a new baby that was born this spring!)

This was my view this morning as I was drinking my coffee. It’s nice to have some moments of alone time in the midst of stressful situations. I’m thankful for these times of respite, albeit brief.
