We can participate in democracy and be flawed while also having non-negotiable. No nazis. No racists. We aren’t abandoning trans people. Triple the minimum wage. Universal healthcare. Reproductive freedom. Etc etc etc. Stand for something! Appeasement accomplishes very little.

Agree with you, but what nonsense on the part of @nowtoronto.bsky.social! The Azrieli Group has real estate holdings in illegally occupied Palestinian territories and donates tons of money to anti-Palestinian, genocide-promoting groups. That's the issue, not their "ties to Israel."

Agree with you, but what nonsense on the part of @nowtoronto.bsky.social! The Azrieli Group has real estate holdings in illegally occupied Palestinian territories and donates tons of money to anti-Palestinian, genocide-promoting groups. That's the issue, not their "ties to Israel."

I live in the Junction, just north of High Park. Take the 40 bus from Dundas W. station: Type Books Junction, Doc's Lounge (coffee shop to bar at night w a good patio), Venga Cucina (southern Italian), Lokum Eats (Turkish), Rois Cream (adorbs Korean bakery), Luna for brunch, Delight for ice cream.
