Had a wonderful day at Morristown National Park yesterday... the Revolutionary War Encampment was fun and educational.
I especially enjoyed a lengthy (and ongoing) convo with my 11yo grandson about the founding myths vs reality... #weloveournationalparks #historywithkids #realhistorynotmyth

Busy day... Ortho appt to confirm hip is healing well (it is!), then time with the 11yo grand: sledding, building a vortex cannon, looking up and learning why Uzbekistan is called that and whether there was an OG "Stan" country (-stan means place/land of - so Uzbekistan is land of Uzbeks)
Enjoying the snowstorm... the hush... absolutely looking forward to sledding with the 11yo tomorrow!
