Yes- I love how you've described it. I was wondering why I've felt protective about the carols being used in a Sheffield theatre production- I'm sure it's because I feel emotional about "our carols". By "our" I mean they belong to everyone who comes and sings them.

So- not only do you have a negative opinion of the town I was born (Swindon) you find the Church where I got married laughable... I'll try not to take it personally. Just please don't say anything about Sheffield

I'm sure if you asked there are lots of people going to your gigs who would love to invite you to eat with them.

Happy Birthday Matt, are you going to the Greystones tonight?

It is sad news- so many happy memories. But the really successful move of the carols up the road to "The Old Band Room" has ensured that the Dungworth carol tradition continues.

Sorry to be pedantic.

A lovely episode but I wish you hadn't posted this section- trees take carbon from carbon dioxide from the air, not through their roots, and also I don't think there will much carbon left in ashes after cremation. I think there will be phosphates that will provide nutrients for the tree.

I do remember that - sorry to hear it's still bothering you, hope you can get it sorted now you've got a diagnosis

Morning Tom, I'm glad you're asking What was the first cassette you bought? Because people usually ask what was the first record you bought? But we were buying cassettes in the 80's. Rachmaninoff piano concertos and then Nigel Kennedy's 4 seasons

You can't please everyone- our steady tunes sessions are too fast for some and too slow for others. If you are getting both comments it's probably about right
June 22, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Oh no, what a pain- you need to move to Sheffield!
June 19, 2025 at 6:28 AM
