The tide was so low we could see all the underwater life marooned for a brief time. My photo of the moon is awful as my camera is poor. It was like a scene from Close Encounters - a UFO would have been wonderful

Forget the image - my bramble overgrown hedge - but listen to the blackbird-song. Beautiful. #signsofspring

Despite a few health issues, ulcerated eyes which I am treating, she’s living her best life once again and loves her new big brown friend. No cat on the horizon as Jack Russells are not the greatest with them, but things are sometimes meant to be.

@marlinhoister.bsky.social Thanks for telling me about this platform. I’m getting used to it and it’s friendlier than the other one. It takes a while.
Been decorating the spare bedroom. I’ve listened to many back episodes of The Food Programme and Thinking Allowed. Nearly done.

Last of the sweet peas, courgettes, a few beans, apples and pears. Oh and a few more tomatoes!

Don’t you just love the randomness of harvest. Yesterday there were very few courgettes and beans. You turn your back and this happens!

My all time favourite poem is Keats’ Eve of St Agnes which is Jan 20th. Today feels like it!

St. Agnes' Eve—Ah, bitter chill it was!
The owl, for all his feathers, was a-cold;
The hare limp'd trembling through the frozen grass,
And silent was the flock in woolly fold:
