Today's dinosaur photo. Kind of shocked at how calm he was around me, but he didn't have any patience for the off leash dogs who came by later. (The dogs' owner got her reward when the dogs dove into the gunky canal and came up covered in mud and weeds.)

Recently did a fun quick top from a jelly roll. I call it "Path to Pride" Was going to be a donation quilt but my husband wants to keep it for himself. I may need to make another. 😉

Our urban cormorant is back. It loves to stand on a tall post in an agricultural canal that backs on to houses.

Got my first ever prime lens, a 16mm f2.8 ultra wide angle. Really enjoying the results so far. Now I just need to work out more so I can crouch down for shots easier -- this one barks at me if the camera isn't perfectly level.

We watched the post rally street party for about 45 minutes. Still going strong when we left. #nokings most of the cars were honking and waving.
