Likely to be found at an easel or a computer. Be good to each other, people.
Happy to see this, a bat signal from the president to the Republicans in the Senate that it's ok to pursue a negotiated deal to reopen the government.

Thank you for the reference photo @delcavallo.bsky.social This was so fun to do! I think I will give it to my mom for her 88th birthday next month.

My dears, there's a lot of wisdom here.

If you're in your mid-life years and want a music reco, I offer this 2022 self-titled Anais Mitchell album (@anaismitchell.bsky.social) which was recommended to me by my son who's in his mid-40's. He advised listening to it from start to finish; the song themes relate to each other sequentially.

Good for Pence for this statement - and linking to a FOX News piece: chef's kiss. I hope other conservatives will speak out on behalf of the truth.

I called my Congressman and one of my senators about exerting oversight on Elon, and here’s some lemons I painted last month. #artsky #paintky

I don't know how previous administrations handled it once they turned the office over, but I've been thinking that the Biden administration is going to need an "office of setting the record straight" as long as Trump is shifting blame without evidence.

The guy who installed our gas logs predicted this would happen. #poodlesky

My painting class focused on using a "limited palette" this month. After 4 sessions, here's my still life. I'm happy with it! Oil on canvas panel, 9 x 12. #artsky #paintingsky

One fancies those holding up the canopy might be tech-bro billionaires who have much to gain by keeping the vain and susceptible new emperor flattered.

Happy birthday to the one and only Dolly Parton! This quote is actually from her birthday in 2021, a tough year indeed. But it's a good birthday wish for 2025 as well. Happy birthday, Dolly. We'll try our best.

2.5 inches of new snow here. Looks very pretty. I hate it for the folks who have to drive to their jobs, though.

I don't regard winning by just over 1.5% a landslide.

She doesn't only vote red, that's the point. When a Democrat wins in a district that often elects Republicans, they aren't going to have the same voting record as AOC. But they'll be with the Democrats on the stuff they need to be.

It's a consequential election for so many reasons.

In 2025, Trump big tax cuts for the rich that were demanded by the Republican donor class are set to expire. Good! But if Trump and a GOP congress are in office, they'll renew them. If Biden and Dems are in office, they will let them expire. The choice in November could not be more clear!

Black Maternal Health Week reminds us of work yet to do to improve healthcare for Black mothers. Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women in America!

Team Biden-Harris is committed to tackling the Black maternal health crisis head-on.
