so I think the more opportunities the better (including vice versa as you suggested). I stayed in community settings from that point, but I know that if I returned to inpatient settings, my experiences from the community would make me a substantially better #aphasia care provider than I was before!

From my perspective, absolutely. My understanding of *living* with aphasia (not just having aphasia) expanded radically once I spent time in the community with people with long-term #aphasia. The most significant perspective shift was immediate (day 1!) but it has continued to grow ever since, so
