I’ve never met another Kathryne. Especially one with an abundance of guitar picks! Hello sister!

My husband had brain surgery and two weeks in intensive care. 10 days of at home care. 8 days of end of life care. I have no idea what it cost. I paid nothing.

Agree with your first statement. Judgement helps no one.

Not so much with your second. Judgement helps no one.

It’s fucking sad how so many have just shrugged their shoulders and turned their backs on this sub-human monster. Fuck him and everyone who enables him.

So cute!

Ha! This happens in my bay in BC but the kayakers need to find somewhere else to get out of the water. Dragging an ocean kayak in the quicksand of my bay isn’t doable.

Congrats!

Corn. They’re corn. They’re definitely included. Corn, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, hot peppers, lime, cilantro. Sounds healthy to me! At least three servings of veggies for the day!

Alternatively, my very fucking high Rosie will violently throw her entire body at you and insist on cuddles. The meds she’s on make her excessively affectionate. She’s already excessively affectionate so take your chances. Those eye voids are also a side effect.

I’ll trade you a Butters petting session for teeny gentle cheek kisses from Coco. She also wants you to know her fancy registered name is A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts.

Though I am intrigued by the MX NY penthouse vibe.

Either will do!

I can’t believe this was a part of my high school orbit. I was very goth, but this song definitely penetrated my ironic force field.

I was a Toronto cyclist in the late 80s and early 90s. My late husband was a bike courier at that time. It was a dangerous undertaking but so much easier than transit or driving. If I still lived there, cycling would be my preferred mode of transportation. Great news story.

I like that BC Hydro is now looking at neighbourhood solar. It’s an interesting approach. I take advantage of net metering with my solar setup. It’s made great economic sense for me. Imagine a national approach to solar energy! A distributed grid makes so much sense.

And I have an electric vehicle, so I use more electricity than many do. Heat pump and electric water heater. We need to make this a priority in this country. If only all provinces were on board.

Wow. I got panels here in BC for $20k, got a $5.6k rebate on that, am on net metering (no storage) and my interest free loan from the feds is less than my previous hydro bill. I paid $200 total in the last year in hydro bills.

So interesting. I made a presentation at work once and a colleague who had made several sexist remarks to me asked a loaded question. A colleague later mentioned that my physical response said way more than my vocal one. It didn’t even register with me. Previous trauma just took over.

No.

Yeah, super lucky. We’d still be watching extra innings if it weren’t for a technicality. That was a game tying homerun hit. See you tomorrow! #gojays #worldseries

They should, yes, but we did contribute to local charities in Washington after the ALCS.
