The #Carp Christmas market was mobbed today. They really need more outdoor booths.
Many people left because the lines to get into the two buildings were too long.
Thankfully nearby churches had craft/bake/thrift sales to save the day for us impatient ones.

For those of you in #Ottaw looking for live trees for Christmas, I saw some at Bloomfields in #Hintonburg.
Smaller but gorgeous.
(Double the cost of a cut tree at a cheaper lot but not much more than what you'd pay at an expensive lot for a top tier tree).
Not sure which way I'll go myself yet

So I continued my journey in the woods and five minutes later, he found me again. So we stared at each other for another five minutes. Such a magical encounter.

Great to see a big turnout for the School of Photographic Arts Ottawa (SPAO)’s open house tonight. Spotted a couple of creative images I loved.
And really happy to see a moving write up of the award in memory of my husband, Mebs Rehemtulla. Very touching.

OK, this might look like a sad little harvest, but it is tenacious. There’s literal snow on the ground in #Ottawa.
I forgot to harvest these two little tiny, daikon radish and one beet (and mint).
Rumour has it they get sweeter if you leave them after the frost. I guess I will find out!
