The Chatri Memorial at PATCHAM Common, near Brighton. This commemorates the lives of Sikh and Hindu soldiers who died in Brighton as a result of the their injuries during WW1. This location is the site of their funeral pyre - a sacred and very moving place.

A house at Ditchling Village, Sussex. On the horizon is Ditchling Beacon, a beautiful place gifted to the nation by a family in memory of their pilot son who was killed in WW2. The road to the top is an iconic climb for cyclists and was part of the 1994 Tour de France route.
