Angelica plant is a new addition to garden. I've never seen one before. It's supposed to live two years, then die and reseed. We'll see how it goes. Lovely.

Just got back from seeing the tail end of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds Wild God tour in SF. It was everything I hoped for--raucous with moments of true beauty and joy.

In 2020, California's Lightning Complex Fire tore through the Santa Cruz Mountains, destroying homes, neighborhoods, wildlife habitats, and 93% of Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Now signs of regrowth are everywhere.
