I begin making the Sentinels fiber sculptures by painting India ink on linen gauze. Here is an early stage of one the first ones I made. Sentinels will be part of a new installation at NewARTSpace, opening this Friday, in DePere, WI, near Green Bay #contemporaryart #installationart #artprocess

'Beneath a Darkening Tempest,' grew out of my obsession with atmospheric rivers dropping narrow bands of heavy rain, leaving other regions in drought. I think of these storms as 'climate spirits', making their way into my paintings. #contemporarypainting #ecoart #abstractpainting
