I am so sorry for your dad's loss, Spike. I lost a sister a few years back--losing a sibling is a particular kind of deep pain. May his memory be a blessing.

Seventy two in just under a month here with a reminder that everyone's experience of perimenopause and menopause is different. Some have it rough, others don't. You will survive it, and things eventually will mostly settle down. I've been lucky--"post" a good place. Pains and problems, but peaceful.

My parents had a Santa head just like that--the zipper is what caught my eye. Theirs didn't have a greenbottle underneath, however.

I wonder about the people who have to live anywhere in his circle--they can't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. Ever. Over the years that must get wearying.
