If I'm not outside looking at plants I want to be teaching about them, writing about them, or playing with them in my kitchen
I'm going on Sunday and....I don't understand German. Should I bring something to read?

OMG I can't even count how many hours have I spent ripping this stuff out of my mother's yard. And untangling it from actually desirable plants. And letting the expletives fly. She moved, and it came with her in some pots and now it's all over the new yard too. Worse than oxalis.

"nobody calls a 'follicetum'" had me laughing so hard. The only place I've ever seen that term is the Spjut book.

And thank *you* Jamie. Now I'll have to find me some Kars 4 Kids ads to swamp it out.

Wow. I hope you are growing basil, too! And tomatoes. So many possibilities!

Congratulations!!!
And I should have told you this earlier, but your 2023 paper on species is one of the most elegantly written and thoughtful papers I have read in a long time. Seriously a joy to read. I need to read it again, in fact. ssbbulletin.org/index.php/bs...
