It's been a busy few weeks, but here we go! Book #3 of the year. A legit page turner. A family moves into a house in rural WV that was owned by an "unofficial exorcist" with secret in the basement. Very fun read. As a WV resident, they had me at "they don't deliver here". Relatable. #booksky #horror

Second finished read of the year. Immaculate. A nuanced and well-paced narrative. It reminded me of Rebecca.

To say I devoured it would be a massive understatement.

Gothic horror perfection w/ a lil queer romance and themes of mental health and the supernatural. 10/10.

This one's a pass from me. Great concept, but the story never came to life, too many "fancy" words and flat characters. Doesn't deliver on the promises made in the description.
