Refashion I did yesterday

Before you get rid of that woven top you don't wear, why not add some trim?! I love how this turned out and now I'm excited to wear it!

Hey did you know you can make your clothes whatever colour you want?!
These photos were from my first time trying this.

Top tip: Make sure you stir the dye bath a lot to get an even colour, select your dye according to your fibre type, I recommend items that are cotton and linen.

Have you ever thought about giving old clothes new life? These changes are so easy, but take these items from something I wasn't into to something I'm now excited to wear!

Mending and altering your clothes is a small act of resistance and a great way to save money.
Here's a refashion I did today.
This dress was easy to alter because it didn't have a lining in the skirt portion. All I had to do was remove some excess volume from the front and back panel lines.

I always wear orange on my birthday! This is a dress I made a few years ago.

I wanted a more positive place to share things so I thought I would post my sewing projects on here instead of Instagram.

I made this top on Saturday. It feels nice to inject more colour into my world!

One of the highlights of my day is coffee and getting outside!
I love getting flower photos because many of them will become drawing references too.
