I'm not sure tbh. Though I'd assume Inojin would provide support from the base given the nature of his abilities.

Phew.. This chapter was dense but I commend Ikemoto for handling it the way he did. So much setup: Ada, Daemon, Sarada, & Sumire fully united. Inojin is learning a new Jutsu. Konohamaru has been recruited. Sai suspects something & Kobu continues his investigation. And now, Mamushi is here.

Phew.. This chapter was dense but I commend Ikemoto for handling it the way he did. So much setup: Ada, Daemon, Sarada, & Sumire fully united. Inojin is learning a new Jutsu. Konohamaru has been recruited. Sai suspects something & Kobu continues his investigation. And now, Mamushi is here.
The last page shows Mamushi's arrival. I LOVE that the middle panel shows Mamushi & his clones as literal bugs on the wall 😭
He already feels dumber. I somehow wish Kashin Koji's exposé on his ability came in the next chapter. That way we would theorize endlessly about seeing 5 Mamushis randomly

Apparently Sumire develops a new technological method in the future & that's what she's gonna use to fix the sword. It's gonna be with her for some time so this confirms that he won't be involved in this arc cuz Jura is one reason and this is the other.

Sumire escapes Ada's friendship cuddle & meets up with Boruto outside the building. He hands her his sword & asks her to fix it, mentioning the Uchiha technique that he uses to keep it sharp & free from chips all the time - Hagoromo. A curious name. Perhaps a callback to the Sage of Six Paths?

Kawaki's section felt dry to me because he's starting to sound like a broken record. It's my least favourite of the chapter tbh, but we got Akebi so I'm okay.

Inojin also has a major part to play in the upcoming battle. Koji says he'll teach him an evolved Mind Transfer Jutsu. I honestly think it'll be something similar to the anime only Jutsu Inoichi used - the Mind Destruction Dance Jutsu.
