Just your average queer scientist 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ 👭🏼. Wife, mom, teacher, anti-fascist. I solve nonlinear PDEs for food.
Last time I had to go there, I got miserably sick for several days. Florida allergy is real.

He’s following that RFKjr path to success.

It went according to plan. The autocrats are adversaries to the USA, but they're allies to trump/vance/musk/thiel.

Hah! Given that they can't tolerate rainwater, I can only imagine what bird droppings do to them. "Don't drive the Cyberclunk in the rain, snow or fog; don't go in a car wash; don't drive through a puddle (even though we say it's a boat), and most importantly: don't park under a tree."

What if instead of bailing out the banks we'd helped workers and homeowners?

Let Silly Valley fail, help the people who get laid off, and don't give a red cent to the idiots who made the bubble.

instead of doing something useful with their skills.

Jesus this is insane. I spent my early career in a scientific computing group at a DOE lab, with many smart colleagues working on important problems. Some of my best students have gone on to work at DOE labs. And now, they're all made to work on this cloud-cuckooland slop science garbage

Eight-Legged Freaks (2002). It's dumb, but weird enough that I love it.

I have a concept for room-temperature, standard pressure superconductors made of cheap materials. Where's my Nobel in Physics? Now let's talk about my concept for cold fusion...

I don't know how exactly many comedy films have been made in the history of film; let's suppose it's 34,871. In my list of the best 34,871 comedy films, Ace Ventura, Pet Detective would rank #34,872. You might put it at #50 or #5,000, but nobody in their right mind would put it above Life of Brian.

The rile-up-the-ignorant gravy train is easier than working, and pays better too.

It’s still a metal box, but with much more legroom and better ventilation.

Good thing he’s the epitome of good hygiene, is current on his vaccines, and would never come in contact with worms or roadkill or dirty swamp water. Otherwise I might worry.

If RFK The Lesser flies commercial, I want solid assurance that the airplanes are de-wormed afterwards.

Why do you criticize him for looking after the needs of the airline-owning public? How can the hardly-working billionaires be expected to make ends meet if we expect them to *deliver* the services we pay for?

Why do you repeat the vicious lie that the Cybertruck can’t be used as a boat? Of course it can be used as a boat. A very leaky boat with the seakeeping properties of a rock-filled colander, but a boat nonetheless.

The average person in PJs is less of a slob than Trump in his ill-fitted suits.

A MAGA-insulting contest? Where’s Cyrano de Bergerac when you need him?

Truly he’s the intellectual heir to DaVinci and Newton. Or not.

Trump is dealing with the presidential-level question of ballroom decor, while delegating minor issues of war and peace to underlings.
