A lesser-known fact about German history is that the Weimar Constitution, with its strong civil rights, technically remained in place during the Third Reich. The institutions meant to protect those rights were simply hollowed out and filled with fascists.

One fact about my borough is that 43% of all residents have a migration background. The spoken language is German (it's in Germany), and it is one of the safest and most desirable places to live in the whole city.
