Neighborliness and caring for our fellow community is alive and well in Twin Falls. Thank you for restoring my faith in mankind.

A neighbor couple who happens to run a tree company, were driving by and the wife said, “you need to get her a chainsaw”. So, since he was going down to the shop to get a chainsaw, he brought the entire rig with chipper and in a manner of minutes the mess disappeared.

An example: a middle sized branch off of an old Honey Locust came down in my daughter’s front yard with the wind. When my daughter got home from work, she starting using her landscape chainsaw (think toy size) to cut the limb up, which turned out to be much more than the saw could handle.

We need to understanding we are community, we all live in the same space and time. We need to focus on the joy in our lives and in each other.

Do you know your neighbors? Do you really know them and not just a wave as you pass on the street. What do they do for fun? How many kids/grandkids do they have?What’s for dinner, I’ve run out of ideas? How do you treat your sons/daughter sports uniform to get the stains out?
