Believer in the common good.
For those of us who are actually living on Social Security, it will be a nightmare. 😬🤬

I discovered that during the early days of the pandemic, and it was a lifesaver. It’s only my mom and me, but it’s worth it to be a Costco member! We do a really big order a couple of times a year (no car). And then ours is close enough to go in person on the bus, so we get fresh food that way.

I love this photo. Such a sweet little bird. Interesting that it is perching on a viburnum, as my friends and I were just trying to figure out what a tall bush was that was flowering so early and determined it was a viburnum. Lucky that you get this view out of your bathroom window!

It has been awhile! Haven’t heard you sing in ages. Maybe I should dig out one of your CDs. 😊❤️

I am listening to Barbra Streisand read her memoir (so fascinated with her and her story). I love her first Christmas album from 1967. Also love The Carpenters Christmas Portrait. Can you tell I’m old?!! 😁

Whichever it was, it is a good story and gave me the chills.

That was an amazing story. I don’t know how you carried on normally while this rescue was going on. Thank you and all the others who were a part of this. It proves there are so many caring and brave people in the world. ❤️❤️

Yes, solidarity. I feel it when I see others in the grocery store, etc. We share a little look and it makes me feel better. 😊

Thank you, Joyce, for sharing your knowledge with us, always explaining things so well, and for helping me stay off the ledge (along with your #sistersinlaw). 💙

Thank you, Aaron!! So thankful for you and all the other young folks working so hard for our democracy.

Don’t people have anything better to do?!?! I see that the account was suspended, so yay for people who reported it!

You are my hero too! I’ve never stopped wearing a mask, and I’m happy to do so to help protect my 93-year-old mom, my friend with cancer, and even those folks out in the world who I don’t know. It is hard to believe in the common good when so many around me don’t care anymore. But I will carry on!

And, also not a holiday fail, but related to your dog, we had an Airedale who at two separate times, ate the plastic gloves that we used to wash dishes. Those are interesting coming out the other end. 😆

This isn’t a fail, but cute. We hid the foil wrapped chocolate Easter eggs in the office as our 2-1/2 yr old son wasn’t given chocolate yet. Couldn’t find him, then discovered him sitting on the floor in the office, surrounded by foil wrappers. He looked up at me, smiled and said “mmm, dis good. “

I’d say it’s more like holding on…for dear life.

I am thankful you are here! This is the best alternative for me also. I tend to get my news here way more than the other apps.

Aww, it was meant to be. What a beauty. This name is so obvious, but it’s the first one that came to mind looking at her face: Oreo
