Friday treat: the almond cookies you get with the check at some Chinese restaurants

Good luck, it's Monday! This week's charm is the first star of the night. You might be familiar with it from the nursery rhyme, or if you live in someplace less cloudy than me, the sky.

Sunday afternoon project: weekend treats. I want to make a habit of regularly painting "little treats" instead of actually having one (since many treat ingredients give me headaches). This is a Hong Kong egg tart; if you know where to get a good one in PDX, please share!
